Teaching

I have many years of experience teaching in schools (elementary, secondary, & postsecondary), at camps, festivals, and in workshop settings, with all ages, from toddlers to seniors. I love sharing what I know and guiding the process of learning as it unfolds for each individual. My greatest joy is being able to assist folks along the journey of self discovery and be a bridge to new territory.

What I also love so much about teaching is that it gives me the opportunity to learn and keep growing, and the motivation to keep researching and trying new things. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and making new connections. I've offered a variety of workshops over the years, including traditional crafts (pysanky, embroidery, weaving, himmeli/pavuky, straw plaiting); landbased skills (scything, wildcrafting/foraging, gardening, fermentation); singing & folklore (Ukrainian ritual folk songs & seasonal celebrations).
