Scything Workshop Announcement!

Excited to announce I'll be offering an introduction to scything workshop on Sun Sept 27!

Catching the end of the season, but never too late to learn this valuable skill. :)

Scything is an old skill, but just as relevant as ever. It is a simple, effective and enjoyable way to quickly mow any area of grass or brush or cover crop. It is especially effective mowing in and around the base of trees, in between crops or the edges of gardens, and in tough to get places. Most importantly, it is a fossil-fuel free peaceful activity, which just requires some practice and presence to master.

A full description of the workshop can be found on my workshops page here: https://www.thisfolklife.com/courses/scything
